Shel Horowitz’ Frugal Five
by Andrew on January 14, 2009
1) Offer your garden surplus to those in need
2) If you drive someplace regularly, see if there’s someone who needs a ride. Check out sites like: http://www.rideshareonline.com and http://www.erideshare.com.
3) Volunteer at a social service agency
4) Pay the toll or bus fare for the person behind you
5) Buy an extra high-protein food item and donate it to a food pantry (check with them first to see what they need)
